The short answer
Your cut, natural density and desired length determine the proposed count. A consultation gives you more than a number: we explain total weight, placement, hair choice, service scope and price together.
At a glance
- Decide whether you want length or fuller ends.
- Compare strand count and total weight in the quote.
- Use the calculator for an initial budget.
More length or fuller-looking ends?
Keeping a shoulder-length cut and filling the ends needs a different plan from extending it substantially. At your PLATİN Antalya consultation, describe the finishing length and styles you wear. We assess the cut and natural density to explain where added hair may be needed. Bring a reference photograph to help us understand your preference.
Understand count versus weight
Count describes the number of attachments; total grams describe the weight of added hair. As a mathematical example only, 100 strands weighing 0.4 grams equal 40 grams, whereas 100 at 0.8 grams equal 80 grams. These are not personal recommendations. They show why equal counts can represent different scopes and why strand specifications matter when comparing prices.
Do not plan every area identically
Hairline, temples, crown and nape may differ. The same strand size may not suit fine or weakened areas. Blending and the natural hair’s capacity must be considered together. The aim is a balanced distribution around individual needs, rather than the highest possible count.
Consider the effect of length
Longer hair changes not only appearance but total load and care requirements. Natural density must be balanced with the target length. A more limited plan, a staged approach or a different option may be discussed. If hair is unsuitable, reducing the number does not solve every issue; the application itself may need reconsideration.
Understand what you are paying for
We want you to know the series, shade, length, count, total weight and included work before deciding. We also discuss whether cutting, colour adjustments, removal and refitting cost extra. Bring your calculator estimate; after seeing your hair, we explain a feasible amount and the full scope for your approval.

Estimate your extension priceCommon questions
Does everyone receive the same strand count?
No. Natural density, target length and strand weight differ. We develop the quantity plan around your hair at the consultation.
Does a higher count always give a better result?
Not always. Particularly in fine or locally weakened areas, balanced placement matters more than increasing the count.
Does the calculator give a final count?
No, it provides an initial budget. Feasible count and weight are confirmed after examining your hair and discussing the target length.
